Priscilla Frank works at the crossing of artistic expression and community care, guided by the principles of spirit, silliness, and sensuality. Based in Queens, New York, she is an artist, writer, and teacher who loves to squeeze the juice out of life and help others do the same.

Priscilla is the co-founder of Pussypaws Puppetry, an inclusive puppet troupe of over 60 artists with and without disabilities. She created, wrote, and directed the 2024 erotic puppet musical That Paradise Place, about the love, sex, and fantasy lives of artists with disabilities, which debuted to sold out audiences at Abrons Art Center.

She is Studio Supervisor and Senior Writer at Summertime Gallery, a studio, gallery, and residency championing the work of neurodiverse artists in Brooklyn. There Priscilla supports artists directly and also works behind the scenes to imagine and realize expansive yet personalized programming that invites viewers into the artists’ worlds.

Priscilla has published two books of e(a)rotic corn cartoons called Corn Smut (2021) and Corn Smut: Cornucopia (2022) with Sunroom Press and Desert Island. They are hot and very corny.

Her projects have received funding from New York State Council for the Arts, Puffin Foundation, Bronfman Alumni Venture Fund, and been covered by New York Magazine, Hyperallergic, and Hell Gate. This fall she will teach a course at NYU called Progressive Studios, Neurodiversity, and Living Creatively.

Priscilla’s work is informed by her experiences as a mother, end of life doula, mikveh guide, flower essence practitioner, and peculiar dancer. She is devoted to beauty in all forms but especially cakes, roses, stuffed animals, grapes, and frogs.
